When do I need to book?
We take bookings anytime.  We will be happy to see you at any stage of your pregnancy (or even after you've had your baby!) free of charge to discuss our services with you and to take your booking.

Do I still have to see my NHS Midwife?
No. We provide full postnatal care for you and your baby.  However, if you wish to be visited by an
NHS Midwife you are fully entitled to do so.  If you would prefer to only see your private midwife all you need to do is inform the hospital before you leave after the birth of your baby.

Will I miss out on anything if I don't see my NHS Midwife?
Absolutely not.  We will provide everything an
NHS Midwife will provide and more ..... An average NHS postnatal visit will be approximately 20 minutes long and you will only be seen on average 2-3 times.  We are happy to visit you as many times as you feel necessary, up to 28 days following the birth of your baby.

Do you have Indemnity Insurance?
Yes.  We have indemnity insurance through Royal College of Nursing.  Full details of this can be obtained via the
RCN website www.rcn.org.uk/membership/benefits
